About Cliff Tan
Born and raised in the Philippines, Hitcliff Leigh M. Tan “Cliff Tan” started winning dance competitions in the hip hop / dance community when he was in 7th grade with his own group. Throughout high school he won numerous competitions in the hip hop and ballroom community.
He moved to the United States in 2008 and started his dance career soon after that. Since then he has developed his skills as an all around all styles hip hop dancer. From breaking, popping, locking, house, krump, and hip hop choreography Cliff has taught, choreographed and danced pieces that won world renowned hip hop competitions such as Hip Hop International.
He has worked with some of the worlds biggest stars from Bebe Rexha, Chris Brown to Far East Movement, Skrillex and Fatman Scoop to name a few. His work also has been seen on America’s Best Dance Crew, So You Think You Can Dance, KTLA, KTLV, and TruTv’s Fake off. He also danced in the movie “Battle Of The Year: The Dream Team 3D” under sony and had a supporting role in the film “Sunday School Musical”. Apart from his career in dancing he has also dedicated his time to teaching the art form of dance to the world. Teaching master classes all over California and the United States, all the way to an orphanage in Gomoa-Fete Africa. Having raised his siblings and having a son, he believes in teaching and inspiring the youth to dance, learn life lessons through the history of dance and experience the world through music and movement.
